Unleavened Bread or Flatbread

Unleavened Bread is a type of bread that does not contain any yeast. It is made by mixing flour, water, oil, and salt.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 c flour
  • 1/4 c coconut oil or olive oil
  • 1 1/2 c water
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine the salt and flour together. Stir in the water and oil until the dough comes together.
  2. In a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for about 5 minutes.
  3. Cut the dough into desired portions and roll it into a ball.
  4. Using a rolling pin, flatten the dough into a circle.
  5. Preheat the skillet in the low-medium setting.
  6. Cook on a hot skillet for about 2 minutes on each side.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
